Tim Naughton Discusses HyBatch™ Technology in Water Magazine Vlog with Phil Alsop

Salinity Solutions Co-Founder and Technical Director Tim Naughton recently joined Phil Alsop, Editor of Water Magazine, to discuss the company’s latest developments and the growing need for innovative water treatment solutions.
The interview covers the launch of the first HyBatch™ Hybrid Batch Reverse Osmosis (HBRO) pilot for municipal wastewater reuse at the Béziers wastewater treatment plant in southern France, marking an important milestone for the technology’s application in water reuse.
Tim also highlights the results of recent technology trials, where conventional reverse osmosis suffered irreversible calcium carbonate scaling at 80% recovery, while HyBatch™ achieved 95% recovery with zero scaling. In high silica conditions, HyBatch™ also operated up to 20 times longer before reaching normal cleaning thresholds.
