It’s World Water Day 2023!
World Water Day this year is focused on accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis. You and your family, school and community can make a difference by changing the way you use, consume and manage water in your lives. Your commitments will be added to the Water Action Agenda, to be launched at the UN 2023 Water Conference – the first event of its kind for nearly 50 years. This is a once-in-a-generation moment for the world to unite around water. The hope is that everyone will have access to safe water throughout the world by 2030.
At Salinity Solutions we believe our low carbon water treatment technology will help accelerate change. Although the demand for freshwater is on the increase, the world’s supply is steadily decreasing. Only 0.5% of the earth’s water is in the form of available fresh water and sources such as groundwater artesian wells are increasingly contaminated. When used to treat wastewater and brackish water, our technology can provide a viable and effective alternative for water utility companies.
